The best part is that you can have the apple sauce in many ways. I like to have it as brunch too. It&#8217;s absolutely delicious with biscuits or even with oats. If you are an oat lover, then you will definitely enjoy it over your over-night oats as well. Sometimes I eat it with pancakes too. Let&#8217;s face it: the flavor of apples and cinnamon can go well with almost everything. What you need: apples water cinnamon That&#8217;s it and nothing more! Sugar is not needed and everything else is just optional. Feel free to play with the flavors. How to do it: First, you should begin with cleaning and peeling of two apples. After, you can chop them. If you will cut them too big, don&#8217;t worry: later in the pan they will get softer and you can easily make them smaller. \u00a0 In a sauce pan, add the chopped apples with 1\/2 cup of water (120 ml). Let them boil with the cap on until they get a little softer. Stir occasionally so you can control the level of water as well. If you would like to chop them more, you can do it easily now. Sprinkle one tea spoon of cinnamon and if the water is reduced but the color of the apple is not brown-is, feel free to add a little more water. Let them boil more with the cap over. When the color gets darker and the mixture is getting softer you can press them with a fork to have a softer consistency or you can even add them into the blender. I prefer a chunkier version of it and as you see I didn&#8217;t smash it. How long can I keep it? You can keep it in a well closed jar in the fridge for 1 week or you can frozen it until 4 months.
